Governors - Management Committee

The Management Committee (MC) was appointed by WBC to work with and manage their icollege Alternative Education Provision. It is made up of 13 governors; 7 Community Governors, 2 LA Governors, 3 Staff Governors and 1 Parent Governor and is supported by a clerk to governors.

We meet regularly throughout the academic year; all governors attend the full MC meetings and there are 6 sub committees that a selection of governors serve on:

MC - Management Committee
FC - Finance Committee
H&SPIT - Health & Safety, Premises and IT Committee
SWC - Safeguarding & Wellbeing Committee
TLC - Teaching & Learning Committe

Our Governors come from a variety of backgrounds and our mission is to work collaboratively, with all our stakeholders; staff, students, parents/carers, the Local Authority and sister services to provide a relevant and holistic curriculum, underpinned by strong leadership and teaching of the highest quality that will inspire our learners and help equip them for their futures and help every learner to do the very best they can.
